READ TANZANIA had the honor of visiting the offices of Ubungo Municipal Council.

During our visit, fruitful discussions took place, addressing various aspects, including how the government can actively participate in ensuring the sustainability of our library projects in public schools. The focus is on enhancing academic performance, fostering a love for reading, and ensuring the proper maintenance of these libraries for the benefit of current and future students

The brief meeting was attended by Naemy Sillayo (Executive Director – READ TANZANIA), Mr. Voster Mgina (Secondary Education Officer – Ubungo Municipality Council), and Mr. Nixon Mpaji (Accountant – READ TANZANIA).

This collaborative effort between READ TANZANIA and the Ubungo Municipality Council signifies a commitment to advancing education and literacy within the community.
