We had a great kick-off meeting at Magomeni Makuti Secondary School with 12 Key Stakeholders from Magomeni ward. Attendees included the Ward Councilor Mr Noordin Hassan, Ward Executive Officer, Mtaa Chairperson, Ward Education Officer, Ward Development Officer, Social Welfare Officer, Chairman of the School Board, Head Teacher, Academic Teacher, two teachers selected to become library teachers, and the Parent Committee Secretary.

It was very important to get these key education actors at local level involved at the very beginning of this project before we start the implementation. We introduced them to the main goals of the project, making sure they had awareness and a sense of being part of it. We are grateful for their participation and we are excited for their ongoing involvement as we move forward to the next stages of the project
