We had the privilege to welcome Mr Riaz Abed, Education Coordinator Secondary from PO-RALG (TAMISEMI).

We visited four secondary schools in the Dar es Salaam region, Magomeni Makuti and Turiani in Kinondoni Municipal, and Mugabe and Ubungo NHC in Ubungo Municipal.

The purpose of the visit was to follow up and assess the progress of school libraries. The Coordinator was pleased to see the well-equipped, modern libraries. We recognized the achievements, learned from the experiences, and through the challenges encountered, we gained insights on the way forward.

These visits provide important lessons and a deeper understanding of how to continue strengthening the reading culture for both students and teachers
