On February 25, 2025, we visited the office of Zanzibar Library Services Board (ZLSB) to establish a partnership aimed at promoting reading among youth and students across Zanzibar. This collaboration seeks to enhance access to reading resources and foster a strong reading culture for educational development.

We also had the opportunity to visit Ben Bella Girls’ Secondary School, located in the historic Stone Town of Zanzibar. The visit allowed us to gain insights into the school’s learning environment, identify challenges, and explore opportunities to improve reading culture among students. Investing in education is fundamental to build a knowledgeable generation for the sustainable development of society.
