PARTNERING WITH CHAVITA TO SUPPORT STUDENTS WITH HEARING IMPAIRMENTS
We recently visited the Deaf Association of Tanzania (CHAVITA) in Temeke, Dar es Salaam. The visit aimed to strengthen our partnership and learn how to improve our programs in schools that serve students from special needs groups, particularly those with hearing impairments.

Through this collaboration, we aim to gain valuable insights and training on how to support students with hearing impairments, providing them with educational materials to enhance their literacy skills. We also seek to equip their peers with the knowledge and tools to communicate effectively with hearing-impaired students, both in school and at home. Every child has the right to learn and access knowledge. Together, we are working to build an inclusive education system that offers equal opportunities for all.
