KICK OFF MEETING: ESTABLISHMENT OF THE NEW LIBRARY PROJECT AT KIPUNGUNI SECONDARY SCHOOL
The meeting with key stakeholders at Kipunguni Secondary School was the final session in a series of important meetings held at schools within the Kinondoni and Ilala municipalities. After meetings of Turiani, Magomeni Makuti, and Minazi Mirefu Secondary Schools, we concluded at Kipunguni Secondary School.

This meeting was attended by 9 key stakeholders from Kipunguni Ward. All stakeholders had the opportunity to understand and realize the objectives of the new library project expected to be established at the school. During this meeting, stakeholders agreed on essential things to consider when the library is completed.

Honorable Councilor Mr. Stephen Mushi emphasized the importance of maintaining the library’s resources after its completion and official handover to the school. He pointed up the need for implementing friendly rules and regulations that align with the school and students environment to ensure books are well preserved for sustainability of the future generations.

Kipunguni Secondary School has a total of 2,352 students, including 1,103 girls and 1,249 boys. The improvement of the library will significantly contribute to the academic and personal development of the students.
